Sascha Burland Mason Adams Signed "In Our Own Image" The Idiots & Company Autographed LP Record
This record has been signed by Mason Adams and Sascha Burland in black ballpoint or biro pen. Sascha Burland was a composer in many music fields, composing the theme to the TV show "What's My Line?" and the 1966 instrumental hit "No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach Is In)", used originally for an Alka Seltzer commercial. He was also one half of The Nutty Squirrels, inspired by Alvin and the Chipmunks, and had a hit with "Uh! Oh! Part 2" at the end of 1959. A companion cartoon show also aired, actually a year before Alvin, Simon and Theodore's TV debut. Mason Adams was regularly on radio, most notably as Pepper Young on "Pepper Young's Family" from 1947-1959. He is also a familiar voice on commercials, such as "With a name like Smucker's, it's got to be good", and "Helps stop cavities before they start" on a Crest commercial. On the "Lou Grant" TV show, he played managing editor Charlie Hume. He also played the US President in "Omen III". This came from the estate of legendary Kansas City area DJ Dan Diamond. The cover shows many signs of wear, the bottom seam is taped. The vinyl record shows a number of scratches which I imagine would affect play.
