Buddy Holly Signed "That'll Be The Day" 78 RPM 10" Single Record Crickets Autograph ITEM SOLD
The 78 RPM 10" single "That'll Be The Day" backed with "I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love" signed on the paper sleeve by Buddy Holly in ballpoint or biro pen. This is the original 1957 release by the Crickets on the Brunswick label. Buddy's releases under his own name were at that time being released on Coral Records. This is the front half only of the original Brunswick paper sleeve, the back half has been lost over time. The vinyl record shows a number of scratches which may affect play. This is from the estate of Dan (Oberholtz) Diamond, a prominent Kansas City area DJ for decades. Besides his many years as a DJ and interviewing most of the top musical acts of his time, Dan was also known for his vast personal record collection.
