Billie Holiday Oscar Peterson Ray Brown Autograph Signed EP Record
This 45 EP has been signed on the cover by Billie Holiday, Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson in pencil. This EP, or extended play, was released in 1953 on the Clef label. It contains the songs "My Man", "He's Funny That Way", "Can't Face The Music" and "Remember". Oscar Peterson's signature is in the lower left, above the line "Supervised by Norman Granz". Oscar Peterson and Ray Brown both play on this record with Billie. The inset photo is a closer look at Billie's signature. Because the pencil signatures are somewhat hard to see, particularly Billie's, I have priced this far less than you would otherwise pay for her signature. The cover shows many signs of age and wear, the bottom seam is split through. The vinyl shows a couple scratches which may affect play. This record is from the collection of Sig Goode, who started collecting signatures in the late 1930's while employed as a staff photographer for MGM and Modern Screen, among others.
